Tony McMichael Public Health Ecology and Environment Award

The Environment Institute congratulates Professor Philip Weinstein from the University of Adelaide on receiving the Tony McMichael Public Health Ecology and Environment Award.

The Public Health association has named the award after Professor Tony McMichael, who was a world leader in research and advocacy for incorporating ecological and environmental factors into the field of public health (including climate change).

Professor Weinstein, Head of School of Biological Sciences and Environment Institute member, has received this year's award for his significant and discernible contribution in the combined domains of public health, ecology and environmental health.
