EVENT: Earth Jam! at the UniBar next month

Earth Jam!

On the evening of Saturday 10th February the University of Adelaide's UniBar will come alive in a youth-focused evening for our living world aimed at amplifying and uplifting the South Australian youth voice.

The event, hosted by Nature Conservation Society (NCS) and proudly supported by the Environment Institute and Human.Kind Studios, will showcase some of SA’s most glorious and earth-passionate bands. From the dreamy Zoë Fox and the Rocket Clocks in their debut Adelaide show, the city's long-term and much-loved residents at Bromham Music, the psychedelic tones of Druid Fluids, the jazzy beats of Tell Mama, right through to the eclectic tunes of Gallery One, there is something for everyone.

Beyond the music, check out some earth-inspired art, hear from some of the leading youth campaigners and advocates, and explore stalls from the myriad of local environmental groups.

Across the evening, the NCS team will be capturing the concerns, thoughts and hopes about all things nature and climate through a climate-inspired art installation, which they will then package and deliver to the government.

Stalls from SAGE, Breathe Easy Reveg, SEED Mob, SA Youth Alliance, Climate Justice Network, the Adelaide Sustainability Centre, the Port Environment Centre, BioR Aus, SA Urban Food Network, Australian Conservation Foundation (Community Group), Landcare and more.

Food trucks and UniBar pizzas will be available for purchase.

Artwork by the brilliant Pia Gynell-Jorgensen.

So, come along and connect with other young community members in what will be a fantastic night of inspiring and exciting ways for you to learn about and get involved with the environmental community in South Australia.
