Global Adelaide is now online
I am delighted to announce the launch of Global Adelaide.
Global Adelaide is a dedicated platform for our international students, featuring University services and virtual experiences. Students can find social, wellbeing, and academic support, access to financial and employment advice, and local virtual experiences that offer students a taste of the South Australian lifestyle and environs from their living space.
New initiatives currently featured on the site include an online offering of the Global IQ Connect program, exploring intercultural differences and similarities between students; a live online Tai Chi lesson from Confucius Institute; and Corona Corner, a wellbeing resource focussed on providing strategies to help you manage your response to these anxious times.
I look forward to seeing the Global Adelaide platform evolve with students' needs, and provide a much-needed connection between students and the University and their peers. While initially developed in response to the COVID-19 situation, this new platform is anticipated to be a useful resource for all students now and into the future.
