Webinar: Impact of COVID-19 on the Malaysian Economy and Employability
Professor Jacqueline Lo, Pro-Vice Chancellor (International), today hosted a webinar designed to provide students with an insight into the economic and employability impact of COVID-19 in Malaysia, delivered via Zoom to onshore and offshore University of Adelaide students.
This webinar, part of our high-profile international alumni series, featured guest panellist Mr Michael Growder, Deputy High Commissioner from the Australian High Commission in Malaysia, and Mr Mathew Thomas Philip, University of Adelaide alumnus and Founder and Managing Partner of Thomas Philip Advocates and Solicitors.
Students benefitted from the lively conversation and a variety of valuable insights from our distinguished panellists. The panellists discussed the way COVID-19 has impacted their respective industries, their perceptions of the future world of work post-COVID-19, and the skills they think will be most valuable for new graduates to possess to succeed in their desired careers.
We thank our guest panellists for their generous contribution of their time and ideas to this student forum.
