So you want to create a University spin-out company

A research career is a great entry into commercialisation. You have learnt how to tackle very difficult problems and make amazing new technologies. Unfortunately, research training doesn’t teach us how to commercialise our discoveries. Like research, there is no quick or easy way to learn how to commercialise. This talk will cover some of the key aspects of how to transition from a career in research and work towards building a successful start-up company.
