IPAS with the Australian Centre for Quantum Growth

An $18.3 million federal grant led by the University of Sydney to establish the Australian Centre for Quantum Growth has just been announced. The University of Sydney led the successful consortium, which included the University of Adelaide via IPAS, along with most of the major Australian research universities and leading commercial quantum companies.
The University of Adelaide team is led by three professors; Professor Glenn Solomon, Director of the Centre for Quantum Materials & Quantum Technologies. His research focuses on the intersection of condensed matter physics and quantum optics. Professor Andre Luiten, a renowned figure in the field of quantum sensing, IPAS' Chief Innovator and a successful entrepreneur. Professor Nelson Tansu, Head of the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, distinguished professor of quantum electronics, making significant contributions in the field.
