The Adelaide Orthodontic Alumni Network is a community of peers committed to supporting each other’s careers. It provides opportunities for both dental and orthodontic alumni to stay connected to each other, to their teachers and current students, and to the University where they forged their careers. An annual schedule of social events and professional development opportunities give alumni the chance to connect and enhance their professional relationships.
Since 1969, Adelaide University’s founding institutions have provided accredited postgraduate education to train specialist Orthodontists, many of whom have gone on to become leaders in this field.
The Adelaide Orthodontic Alumni Network enjoys hosting orthodontic postgraduates, recent graduates and industry representatives, along with practicing and retired orthodontists, at the annual Milton Sims event.
The network has enabled orthodontic alumni to collaborate, support and improve the lives of others through projects including mentoring, teaching and providing pro bono orthodontic treatment in rural and remote locations.
