Star-filled fun for space fans
Venture into outer space during the school holidays with a Planetarium experience. Enjoy a tour of the cosmos guided by one of the Planetarium’s experienced astronomers and watch the mysteries of our solar system unravel on the dome-shaped ceiling.
Important notes – please read before booking
- Booking: Bookings are essential for all sessions. Please book via Humanitix.
- Arrival: Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your session. Late entry and re-entry are not permitted.
- Children: The Planetarium is suitable for children aged 4 years and over. Children aged 3 and under may attend daytime sessions at no cost when seated on a carer’s lap. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- Daytime sessions: If attending with a younger child, please sit near the exit. If your child becomes unsettled, we ask that you leave the Planetarium to minimise disruption to other patrons.
- Evening sessions: Please check the minimum age requirement for your chosen session or course before booking.
- Accessibility: If you or a member of your party requires wheelchair-accessible seating or holds a Companion Card, please contact the Planetarium before booking so we can reserve appropriate seating.
- Inside the Planetarium: Food and drink, use of mobile phones and electronic devices, photography and prams are all not permitted.
- PARKING – if you are parking in the P6 car park or along University Boulevard, please ensure you pay for your parking upon arrival. Casual parking is via the PayStay parking meter located outside the Planetarium building. Fees are $0.20 per hour, capped at $2.00 per day. Payment is via credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You will be required to hold your phone near the meter or scan the QR code (there is no cash option).
