Whilst completing my undergraduate and post-graduate studies, I developed a passion for neuroscience, human anatomy, physiology and pathology through my research, and discovered a strong desire to share my enthusiasm of knowledge with others. Throughout my PhD candidature, I extended this passion into actively teaching in the classroom of over 14 different undergraduate courses and outreach engagements in the School of Biomedicine (University of Adelaide). Since the completion of my PhD, I now hold a teaching academic position in Adelaide University with the intention of continue to inspire others to develop a similar passion for their studies and search for knowledge that my teachers evoked in me.
