​​An Osteoarthritis Pain Science Education Intervention to Optimise Care for Total Knee Replacement Surgery (OPTIMISE)​

About the study

​​The OPTIMISE project aims to develop and trial a new pain education resource for people undergoing total knee replacement in South Australian hospitals. 

​As the first step, Adelaide University will be running up to two workshops (each ~ 2 hours) at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  These will help us understand the hospital’s current care pathway and inform how we can adapt and integrate the resource to the hospital’s current care pathway. 

Eligibility requirements

​​We are looking for people who have had a knee replacement at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in the last 6 months to 2 years AND: 

  • ​Are from a rural location
  • Recruitment timeline

​OR do not speak English​
