Relationship between an imaging marker of Parkinson’s disease and body function
About the study
Volunteers are needed for a new study being conducted by Adelaide University researchers who are exploring the relationship between a brain scan marker of Parkinson’s disease and body function.
The study involves questionnaires and non-invasive, safe and painless tests of body function. All participants will be asked to complete an online questionnaire and attend an appointment at Adelaide City Campus (approximately two hours in duration). Some participants will also be asked to complete a neurological examination (20 minutes) at Neurology SA (Blackwood) on a different day.
The hope is the information gathered can assist in earlier and more accurate diagnosis of the disease.
Eligibility requirements
- Gender: Any
- Age: 30-80.
