Parkinson’s disease and body function

Relationship between an imaging marker of Parkinson’s disease and body function

About the study

Volunteers are needed for a new study being conducted by Adelaide University researchers who are exploring the relationship between a brain scan marker of Parkinson’s disease and body function.

The study involves questionnaires and non-invasive, safe, and painless tests of body function. All participants will be asked to complete an online questionnaire and an appointment at Adelaide University City Campus (approximately 2 hrs in duration). Some participants will be asked to also complete a neurological examination (20 mins) at Neurology SA (Blackwood) on a different day.

The hope is the information gathered can assist in earlier and more accurate diagnosis of the disease.
