McMillan Teacher in Residence Program
Empowering Educators, Igniting Minds
The University of Adelaide’s McMillan Teacher in Residence program is an outreach initiative inspiring students to develop skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Funded through a bequest from McMillan Contracting and named in honour of company founder and University of Adelaide alumnus Raymond McMillan, the McMillan program supports two scholarships in civil engineering annually and a Teacher in Residence program.
The Teacher in Residence program aims to ignite a passion for STEM, recognising its essential role in our rapidly evolving world, delivering student workshops and Teacher Professional Development that explore exciting study and career pathways. Aligned with the University's commitment to excellence in education, the program aspires to nurture a new generation of STEM leaders who will shape the future and contribute to solving society's challenges.
Join us on this journey of exploration and discovery to unlock the boundless potential of STEM education with the McMillan Teacher in Residence program. Together, we'll inspire the scientists, engineers, and innovators of tomorrow.
