Healthy Housing NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence
Professor Emma Baker, Stretton Institute's Building a City for the Future Program Director, will lead the Capturing Complexity research stream of the recently announced NHMRC Healthy Housing Centre for Excellence (CRE) led by the University of Melbourne, where she is also Deputy Director.
The stream Emma leads will bring together new developments and methods (from epidemiology, data science, machine learning, geography, even economics), and utilise new ‘big’ datasets, to push our understanding of the health effects of people’s housing.
Emma and her team at the University of Adelaide will be welcoming two new Postdoctoral researchers and a pool of new PhD students.
Congratulations Emma!
