South Australia: the Democracy State?

On 8 November 2023 Professors Adam Graycar and Alan Reid presented a seminar to the Australian Study of Parliament Group (ASPG).

Entitled 'South Australia: the Democracy State?', the seminar was held in Parliament House, Adelaide.

Reid and Graycar are working towards the establishment of a Democracy Alliance, which is aimed at building a strong South Australian democracy. Noting that democracies around the world are facing challenges, this alliance will explore how South Australia can become a hub for democratic innovation.

The ASPG hosted the seminar in its “Lunchtime Learning” series, and invited the presenters to present again as the Alliance develops.
