Higher Education Loan Program (HELP)
The Australian Government administers the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) to assist students with the cost of their fees.
The right HELP loan will depend on your circumstances, eligibility and where you want to study.
The following HELP schemes are currently available at the University of Adelaide.
SA-HELP
A loan that assists eligible students to pay for all or part of their Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).
HECS-HELP
A loan scheme to help eligible Commonwealth supported students to pay their student contribution amounts.
Commonwealth assistance notice
Your Commonwealth Assistance Notice (CAN) is your official record of your fees charged, amounts paid, fees deferred and enrolment.
Tax file number
A tax file number (TFN) is your personal reference number in the tax and superannuation systems.
NZ special category visa holders
A special category visa enables New Zealand citizens to visit, study, stay and work in Australia.
