What is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)?

Registered training organisations (RTOs) are providers approved by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), or in some cases a state regulator, to deliver vocational education and training (VET) services. RTOs are recognised for delivering nationally accredited qualifications under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Only RTOs are authorised to offer nationally recognised courses and AQF VET qualifications, as required by legislation across Australia.

The Basic Life Support & Manual Handling training course is open to all Adelaide University students, however the training is specifically targeted toward nursing, midwifery and allied health students.
