Student Voice at Adelaide University

Student Voice at Adelaide University is about making sure your experiences, ideas, and perspectives genuinely shape the University.

We don’t just collect feedback - we listen, understand, and act where we can. When something can’t change, we’ll be open about why. Closing the loop is a key part of this, so you know how your voice has made an impact.

Student Voice happens in different ways, depending on what works best for you. This might include:

  • Being informed about decisions and changes
  • Sharing feedback through consultations, surveys, focus groups or discussions
  • Partnering with staff to co-design ideas and improvements
  • Contributing to decision-making through committees and forums

All of this is guided by our Student Voice Framework, ensuring your involvement is meaningful, consistent, and valued.

What this means for you:

  • Your experiences help shape both academic and broader aspects of university life
  • Your feedback influences real decisions, services, and improvements
  • You can participate in ways that align with your interests, availability, and goals
  • You are part of a partnership, working alongside staff to enhance the student experience

What we ask in return:

  • We ask for your honesty
  • Tell us what’s working, what’s not, and what could be better. Your perspective matters, and it plays a key role in shaping the future of Adelaide University.

Our commitment:

We want you to leave every interaction feeling:

  • Heard
  • Understood
  • Confident that your input matters

Your experience, inside and outside the classroom, is at the centre of how we improve.

All of this is guided by our Student Voice Framework, ensuring your involvement is meaningful, consistent, and valued.
