Course overview
Students will develop the knowledge and skills required to understand, develop, and implement large language models (LLMs). They will develop the skills in data, information, and knowledge representation. Students will also be able to discuss, evaluate, and compare relevant ethical and cultural considerations in LLM-related cases.

- LLM Design Considerations
- LLM Implementation
Course learning outcomes
- Analyse and compare architectures, training approaches, computational and data resource requirements of large language models for an authentic problem.
- Design LLM-related methodologies for representing domain knowledge to address authentic problems and provide justification for key design trade-offs.
- Describe ethical and cultural concerns and human factors related to the use of large language models.
- Communicate solutions to authentic problems.
