Course overview
Students will develop foundational professional and employability skills for careers in agriculture through practical activities focused on preparing CVs and cover letters, developing a professional presence using LinkedIn, and practising workplace communication skills including networking, interviews, professional email writing and phone etiquette. Through workshops, group activities and industry-focused learning experiences, students will explore career pathways in agriculture while building confidence, professionalism and career readiness for engaging with employers and agricultural stakeholders. Students will also undertake 100 hours of placement or internship within the agricultural sector.
