Course overview

In this course, students will synthesise prior learning from the Master of Landscape Architecture to create a comprehensive landscape design project that enriches the discipline’s theoretical and practical knowledge base. They will be required to develop critical perspectives on their project’s contribution to landscape architecture, comprehend design as a form of creative inquiry, and refine advanced design communication skills. This immersive studio experience will give students the opportunity to purse a topic of their interest through a focus on research-through-design. The course culminates with an individual project that must demonstrate creativity, practicality, and critical thought in relation to relevant theories of landscape architecture.
