Course overview
This course aims to equip students with foundational knowledge and practical skills in construction scheduling, enabling them to plan, organise, and control project timelines using both deterministic and stochastic methods. Students will develop the ability to analyse activities, allocate resources effectively, and anticipate potential delays to enhance efficiency and minimise risks in construction projects. This course further develops students’ understanding of construction safety legislation, risk management, and industry standards. This course enables students to assess hazards, investigate accidents, and apply effective control measures, while developing skills to promote ethical and legal responsibilities that prioritise worker wellbeing. Through applying safety alongside construction planning principles, students will be ready to manage projects confidently and responsibly in the dynamic construction industry.
