Course learning outcomes
- Analyse the structure and operation of Local Governments, Statutory Authorities and private certifiers to the activities of the construction industry in Australia and in the international context
- Discuss the professional services that building surveyors perform, addressing both the inspection/report and assessment-based work as well as the professional consulting role
- Evaluate ethical courses of action, according to professional body ethical codes of conduct to be followed by building surveyors in various industry scenarios
- Generate detailed building surveying related reports on buildings and carry out building inspections
