Course overview
This course enables students to integrate knowledge gained throughout the Construction Management program, together with research skills developed in Research Methods, to design and develop a comprehensive research proposal. Building upon the fundamentals of scientific research, students will apply these skills to formulate a well-structured research design that addresses critical questions within the field of construction management. The course emphasises both independent and collaborative work, culminating in the submission of a written research proposal. This course will prepare students for Final Year Research Project B. The Research Project courses prepare students for lifelong learning and the application of research as a component of professional practice in construction management careers.
