Course overview

This course aims to equip leaners with knowledge and awareness of a wide range of ethical and legal challenges related to technology focusing on information technology, and to enable them to identify potential issues in real world cases and recommend resolutions. A wide range of issues will be discussed including privacy, data protection, surveillance and monitoring, cybersecurity and cybercrime, intellectual property rights, and other ethical concerns. Learners will develop understanding of such ethical and legal challenges and become capable of identifying and explaining potential issues and recommending prospective resolutions.
