Course overview
The aim of the course is to introduce students from a non-science background to the basic concepts of science; focussing on the biosciences areas of biology and including some fundamental chemistry.
Course learning outcomes
- Demonstrate comprehension of biological concepts and principles
- Define scientific terms
- Demonstrate an ability to analyse scientific data and scholarly sources

If you are an international student, or a domestic student studying in a full fee paying place, and are continuing study that you commenced in 2025 or earlier, your fees will be available here before enrolments open for 2026.
