Course overview

To develop conceptual and foundational content knowledge in Civics and Citizenship and Economics and Business, examining contemporary issues and connections across all four HASS substrands. Students will apply a personal to global lens to explore how these disciplines connect to History and Geography within the Australian Curriculum Foundation to Year 6.

  • Analyse a contemporary issue through a Civics and Citizenship or Economics and Business lens, connecting it to a relevant curriculum content descriptor
  • Evaluate the connections between all four HASS substrands at a nominated year level.
