Course learning outcomes

  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of qualitative research paradigms, approaches, methodologies, and theories.
  • Explain methodological and ethical considerations, including their own positionality, which must be addressed when conducting qualitative research.
  • Understand the theoretical and practical foundations for different inductive and deductive approaches to analysing qualitative data.
  • Show their competency in reporting qualitative research findings using different dissemination strategies to enhance the reach and impact of their research.
