Course overview

To explore ways in which Muslim learners' religious and cultural perspectives intersect in secular public schooling classrooms in Australia. To shift the discourse beyond "religious accommodations" and toward culturally responsive pedagogy for Muslim learners that centres the diverse and individual lived experiences of Australian Muslim learners within formal and informal curriculum.
