Course learning outcomes
- Plan learning sequences by synthesizing information on the diversity of learner needs, contextual constraints, pedagogical content knowledge, assessment and the Australian curriculum (HPE)
- Apply inclusive, collaborative & dialogic pedagogies when planning for the holistic development of diverse learners in Health and Physical Education
- Plan and teach lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum (HPE) that demonstrate safe, engaging, success orientated movement experiences for learners with varying experiences and needs
- Demonstrate teaching capacities to influence learning by establishing a positive learning environment, interacting with learners in a professional and engaging manner, clearly presenting learning tasks, adopting peripheral positioning to observe learners for safe participation and assessment
- Reflect and evaluate practice to transform teacher capabilities and progress student learning
