Course overview

This course aims to empower students with a comprehensive understanding of design principles, methodologies, and practices essential for tackling real-world challenges. Students will develop the ability to conceptualise, analyse, and implement solutions to a given problem, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and proficiency in design tools and techniques. The student will be competent in printed circuit board layout, through-hold soldering and use of electronic test equipment. Working on design projects will enhance interpersonal and communication skills and prepare them as an effective member of an engineering design team.

  • Design And Development
  • Prototyping, Developing And Testing
  • The Ieee Micromouse Competition
