Course overview
This course covers advanced knowledge in programmable logic controller (PLC) technology (used more than 70% in industry automation) to solve problems related to mechatronic systems design and industrial actuation and automation. It relies on student’s hands-on experience to expand the knowledge base and depth in the fundamental areas of mechatronic systems engineering with a modern and practical understanding on remote control via human-machine interface (HMI) based on the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and wireless technologies.
