Course overview
The course explores the key engineering principles of soil and groundwater remediation. It covers methods for modelling groundwater flows and contaminant transport, estimation of human and ecosystem health risks, and design / implementation of remediation options for contaminated sites. The topics are illustrated using case studies from historical and contemporary practices.
