Course overview

This course will introduce students to fundamental skills and knowledge in drawing relevant to discipline specific contexts. Focussing on analogue drawing, students will learn to recognise and apply a range of materials and processes to generate ideas and develop design concepts and artworks.

Course learning outcomes

  • Develop technical analogue skills using a range of mediums, materials and processes to create a range of drawings relevant to context, content and discipline
  • Apply systems of drawing and observation for representation and communication

  • Apply drawing as a means of expression and exploration through visualisation, interpretation and observation
