Course overview
This course extends students’ knowledge and practical skills in advanced data analytics, with an emphasis on the responsible design, evaluation and deployment of data-driven systems. Students will explore contemporary methods for time series analysis, computer vision, natural language processing, and foundation models, including large language models trained on broad datasets and adaptable to a range of downstream tasks.

- Apply advanced analytics methods to solve complex data analytics problems.
- Design an approach to AI and Data Analytics problems in specialised domains including natural language processing, speech and vision.
- Critique emerging technologies in Artificial intelligence (AI), considering their scope, limitations and application.
- Apply principles of responsible AI at every stage of the Data Analytics and AI-enabled application development.
