Course overview
The aim of this course is to equip students with research knowledge and skills relevant to inclusive interior design. Through social sciences paradigms and practical application, students will learn to research and interpret diverse interior user needs, identify opportunities and challenges, and integrate inter-disciplinary research into interior design spatial briefs, or similar proposals, and demonstrate proficiency in practice and project management within the field of interior architecture. This supports the program’s intent to advance knowledge in interior architecture and human environments by enabling students to act as ethical research-informed designers in professional practice.
This course should be taken with the corequisite course INTE 3002. Students who cannot enrol in both courses at the same time, including part-time students, should contact the Program Director for advice on their study plan.
