Course overview
This course will enable learners to synthesise and apply the knowledge and skills gained from other courses in the program to an academic research project. Students will plan, design and deliver a short research thesis about a topic of significance to the strategic communication academic field and which informs industry knowledge.

Course learning outcomes
- Design and conduct an appropriate and achievable research project in the discipline of Strategic Communication
- Identify and address a discipline and industry-relevant issue or problem through the critical analysis of an issue or case study
- Locate, evaluate and synthesise relevant industry and academic literature related to the chosen topic
- Critically analyse the chosen issue or topic through the identification and application of key theories and concepts in Strategic Communication
