Course overview

Students will extend their scope of practice through evaluation of their clinical practice. Contents include: The role of clinical inquiry in advanced clinical practice. Defining best practice. Clinical governance. Evaluating the processes and outcomes of clinical practice. Implementing practice change within the scope of practice. What is clinical audit? Clinical audit cycle. Developing an audit proposal.
