Course overview
This course explores approaches to practice-based research in creative writing. Students will conceptualise a research question and plan a structure for a large-scale project. They will be exposed to a range of research methods, as well as the ethical implications of conducting those methods. Students will also learn how to express their research in a range of fiction and creative nonfiction, including prose forms and poetry.

- Identify a creative project and develop a research plan to complete this project
- Demonstrate an understanding of the practicalities of research, including ethics

- Critically read and assess creative and critical writing produced by students themselves, their peers and other writers; offer sensitive feedback to other writers' work
