Entry requirements

Admission criteria

Applicants must hold:

  • a completed Bachelor degree, OR
  • a completed Diploma (from either a University or TAFE), OR
  • a recognised industry-based qualification, OR
  • at least 2 years professional experience holding a responsible position in a field of practice or discipline.

A comprehensive CV should be uploaded as part of the application for those applicants without a completed qualification (Bachelor, Diploma or industry based).

English language entry requirements

In addition, international students who speak English as an additional language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at Adelaide University. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

Why Professional Certificate in Defence Contracting Law?

Overview

The Professional Certificate in Defence Contracting Law offers students a postgraduate coursework qualification in the specialised field of defence contracting law. This program is designed for Professionals (including lawyers and contract managers) who wish to up-skill on defence contracting law to take advantage of the many opportunities in the rapidly growing field to advance their knowledge and standing. Core courses in the program incorporate blended learning and face-to-face intensive seminar classes. The program includes a research project exploring an area of defence contracting law.

 

The Professional Certificate in Defence Contracting Law is a non-AQF program. This program has a standard full-time duration of 0.25 years but can only be taken part-time for a duration of 0.5 years.

 

This program is available to domestic applicants only.
