Customised study tours for groups

Adelaide University's English Language Centre offers study tours for international groups to meet specific educational goals while providing an authentic Australian experience. These customised programs can be delivered face-to-face in Adelaide, online, in-country, or in a hybrid format, and typically range from one week to three months.

Some of our most popular offers include English Plus, which combines specialised English language study with academic content, Teacher Training (including TESOL and broader student-centred teaching methodologies) and English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) for educators and academic staff.

Study tours may be offered as closed programs for a single institution or integrated into the General English for Academic Purposes (GEAP) program for a more immersive learning experience and the opportunity for your students to mix with other international students from around the world. Whatever your group's unique needs, we will design a solution that best matches them.

A complete experience beyond the classroom

We offer a complete package for your group, from accommodation to campus life and cultural exploration. Our Homestay Program places international students with local families, providing a genuine first-hand experience of everyday Australian life. This helps students improve their English, build confidence, and connect with new people in a warm and supportive environment. Dormitory and shared apartment options are also available.

While in Adelaide, your group will also have the opportunity to explore South Australia through cultural excursions arranged by our team, including visits to wildlife parks, day trips to stunning beaches, and weekend trips to iconic tourist destinations.

As part of a well-established university, groups will have access to a range of on-campus support services. Students will receive an Adelaide University student card, which provides access to Hub Central, a modern student complex with study facilities, cafés and restaurants, as well as opportunities to connect with the broader university community.

At the conclusion of the program, all participants will receive a certificate from Adelaide University.
