The Rotary Club of Barossa Valley Foundation Scholarship has been established by the Rotary Club of Barossa Valley to support a student from the Barossa/Eden Valley region of South Australia who is commencing any undergraduate program of study at Adelaide University.

Value: $2,500 per year for two years, to be paid in two instalments.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:
- Be commencing any Bachelors degree
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia
- Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
- Demonstrate you are in financial need*
- Be from the Barossa/Eden Valley regions
* Applicants must demonstrate financial need and provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (ATAR)
- Financial need
- Applicant’s written statement regarding their school activities and responsibilities and/or community involvement
- Answers to questions on the application form

- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
