In 1920 a public appeal for funds resulted in a donation by more than 30 donors including TE Barr Smith and Peter Waite, for the purpose of establishing the Animal Products Research Fund for promoting research on the "growth and nutrition of mane and animals".
This top-up scholarship provides $4,500 for up to 3.5 years for students in the College of Science who are undertaking research related to the "growth and nutrition of man and animals" and who hold a major scholarship.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must be:
- An Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, New Zealand Citizen, or Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder;
- Commencing a full-time Doctor of Philosophy or Master of Philosophy program in the College of Science;
- Undertaking research related to the "growth and nutrition of man and animals"; and
- A recipient of a major scholarship.
Selection criteria
The scholarship will be awarded via a competitive selection process managed by the Adelaide University Graduate Research School, based on academic merit, research potential and relevance of academic research.How to apply
