The Dr Terry Farquharson Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science Scholarship provides encouragement and financial support for graduate researchers commencing a PhD program in the field of pharmacy. The scholarship is for PhD students who have completed a UniSA/University of Adelaide undergraduate pharmacy qualification and have commenced advanced research in the field of pharmacy.
Recipients will receive a top-up scholarship valued at $5,000 per annum for up to 3 years, provided they continue to be enrolled and maintain satisfactory progress.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or an international student.
- Have completed a UniSA/University of Adelaide pharmacy qualification
- Be enrolled (full time or part time) in a PhD program in Pharmaceutical Science (or related field).
Selection criteria
The scholarship will be awarded via a competitive selection process managed by the Adelaide University Graduate Research School, based on academic merit, research potential, benefit to the applicant’s Higher Degree by Research program and relevance to Pharmaceutical Science.
Preference may be given to applicants who have completed the double degree Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science, Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours).
