The Graham Arnold Travel Grant supports PhD students undertaking research in Corporate Social Responsibility, International Management or International Business.
Established through the generosity of Andrew Chen and named in honour of Graham Arnold, the grant assists eligible students to attend a leading international conference in the United States and further develop their research profile.
The grant supports travel and accommodation costs associated with presenting or participating in a major conference relevant to the student’s field of research.

Paid as a once-off payment
The scholarship supports travel and accommodation costs associated with attending one of the following conferences in the United States:
- Academy of Management Conference
- Academy of International Business Conference
One scholarship is offered each year, subject to the identification of a suitable applicant.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:- Be in your second or third year of candidature in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
- Be undertaking research in Corporate Social Responsibility, International Management or International Business
- Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or student visa holder
- Recipients of the Graham Arnold Prize are not eligible to receive the Graham Arnold Travel Scholarship.
Selection criteria
The Scholarship will be awarded via a competitive selection process managed by the Adelaide University Graduate Research School, based on academic merit, research potential, and the quality and impact of the proposed travel.Important information
Recipients are expected to provide a report outlining the impact of the grant and how attendance at the conference supported their research.
Decisions of the selection panel are final.
