In 2005, Betty Hartmann bequeathed funds to support research relating to the disease of Leukaemia. 

The value of this scholarship is $3,500 paid as a once off lump sum to the successful applicant. No extensions will be considered.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must be:

  • An Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder or international student;
  • Be enrolled in a full-time Doctor of Philosophy program in the College of Health at Adelaide University, undertaking research relating to the disease of Leukaemia.

Selection criteria

The scholarship will be awarded via a competitive selection process managed by the Adelaide University Graduate Research School, based on academic merit, research potential and relevance of academic research.
