The Hans-Jürgen & Marianne Ohff Research Grant was established by Hans-Jürgen & Marianne Ohff to support graduate research students to undertake study and/or fieldwork at a German-speaking university or research institution such as: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, or The Netherlands.
This grant can be used towards research field work, a short study program, or conference presentations and attendance. Successful applicants will receive funding to a value determined by the selection committee based on the application provided.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, Permanent Humanitarian visa holder, or international student; and
- be enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) at the Adelaide University with your candidature confirmed but not within the last 6 months of your candidature.
Selection criteria
The scholarship will be awarded via a competitive selection process managed by the Adelaide University Graduate Research School, based on academic merit, research potential, purpose of requested Grant, reason for choosing a particular University or institution, and benefit of travel to the applicant’s graduate research program.Important information
Awardees will be required to provide a brief report and a financial acquittal to the AUGRS within three months of their return to South Australia, detailing the outcomes achieved as a result of the Grant and proof of expenditure.How to apply
