Cadetships

Cadetships

The University of Adelaide offers cadetship opportunities, including on-campus and external work placements for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Wirltu Yarlu and Host organisations manage the cadetships through the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Strategy.

For further information, contact wirltu.yarlu@adelaide.edu.au.

  • What is a cadetship?

The Wirltu Yarlu Cadetship Program offers students the chance to enhance their work-integrated learning experience by undertaking a placement related to their degree and professional development goals.

A cadetship can be tailored to include professional development, technical skills (lab work or fieldwork), networking, and contribution to research that shapes the future.

If you want to undertake a cadetship alongside your University of Adelaide studies, please get in touch with Wirltu Yarlu at wirltu.yarlu@adelaide.edu.au.

  • Information for cadets and mentors
