Navigating to AMEB exams at the Central Venue (SA)

Please use the map link provided on exam notifications, and note that access differs between weekdays and weekends. You can watch brief videos below, outlining how to access each of the AMEB exam locations at the University of Adelaide (with the exception of Elder Hall). The University of Adelaide is the Central Venue for SA.

  • Weekday exams at the Central Venue (SA)

    THE BELOW INSTRUCTIONS APPLY TO WEEKDAY EXAM VENUE ACCESS

    AMEB Office - Level 1, Hartley South, Kintore Ave (weekdays)

    • Level 1 is accessible via stairs in the Hartley Building. Lift access is via Schulz West.

    Schulz West - Levels 7 & 8, Schulz Building (weekdays)

    • Lift access is via the Schulz West entry off Pfitzner Court.

    Hartley Concert Room - Level 1, Hartley South, Kintore Ave (weekdays)

    • Level 1 is accessible via stairs in the Hartley Building. Lift access is via Schulz West.

    • Enter from street level via gate 14, off Kintore Ave

  • Weekend exams at the Central Venue (SA)

    THE BELOW INSTRUCTIONS APPLY TO WEEKEND EXAM VENUE ACCESS

    Main entry, AMEB Office, Hartley Concert Room & Schulz (weekends)

    • Proceed up the staircase outside Madley Jazz Studio and along the walkway adjacent to Pfitzner Court.
    • Announce your arrival via the intercom outside the Schulz West entry.
    • Proceed through the Schulz West entry when opened.
    • Use the lift to access level 1 (Hartley Building) and levels 7 & 8 (Schulz Building) exams.
    • Follow the signage to your exam.

    Assisted Access entry only, AMEB Office, Hartley Concert Room & Schulz (weekends)

    (Disability access and access for candidates carrying a Double Bass, Harp or Tuba)

    • Proceed to the Hartley South ground floor entry off Kintore Ave.
    • Announce your arrival via the intercom.
    • Wait for further instructions from the Supervisor on duty.
