What We Offer

AMEB offers a system of graded music and speech syllabuses and examinations from beginning levels to diplomas in almost 40 subjects.

Each syllabus provides a valuable framework for studies throughout school years and beyond. AMEB has also partnered with Rockschool to inspire learning and support achievement for all contemporary music students in Australia. AMEB SA & NT offers practical and written exams across the current, published AMEB and Rockschool syllabuses, and support for teachers and candidates in preparation for exams. 

In many cases, progression through the AMEB and Rockschool systems leads to university entrance and the establishment of professional careers in teaching and performing.

SACE

Most AMEB and Rockschool practical exams from Grade 5 through to Certificate of Performance and Diplomas are approved by the SACE Board as Community Learning and can be counted towards the SACE at Stages 1 and 2.
