The Centre of Light for Life conducts transdisciplinary research implementing new imaging modalities to improve visualisation and understanding for the environment, biology and health.
The Centre has a new suite of dedicated laboratories in the Molecular Life Sciences building on the North Terrace Campus which houses our specialised imaging systems for use in multidisciplinary research projects. The facilities include optical laboratories, a wet laboratory, and incubators to enable both biology and physics research and translation.
Our vision is to be leaders in developing novel optical imaging of biological materials and propel multidisciplinary research with translatable applications.
